Band That Rocked Herman's Hideaway On June 30th Makes Their Third Appearance At The Soiled Dove On Friday, July 15th DENVER, CO (PRWEB) July 13, 2005 -- After a high-energy second show at Herman's Hideaway that got the crowd bouncing on their feet, Ultrachronic - a four-piece rock band out of Denver, Colo. - will be rocking the crowd again on Friday, July 15th at The Soiled Dove in lower-downtown Denver. The date at The Soiled Dove will be Ultrachronic's first Friday night show. This is a huge step for the band, considering that this is only Ultrachronic's third performance since their debut at The Walnut Room earlier this summer on May 26th - at which they packed the venue with upwards of 200 fans. The band also made a respectable second showing at Herman's Hideaway in south Denver on June 30th, drawing in a crowd of 165 and thus earning the band their first Saturday night date at Herman's Hideaway later this summer on August 20th. The band members in Ultrachronic are very enthusiastic about the event at The Soiled Dove, and even more so about the highly-respected venue that they're playing at. "It's the freaking Dove, man!" says Ultrachronic bassist Dave Crotser of Boulder, who has played in bands in the Boulder area over the last four years. "I've never played that venue - and now we're doing it on our third show, and on a Friday night? That's unbelievable." Ultrachronic's refreshing sound and lively stage performances are quickly becoming one of the year's newest highlights in the Denver music scene. This became evident with Ultrachronic's respectable crowd draws at The Walnut Room on May 26th, and at their last show at Herman's Hideaway. Ultrachronic is capitalizing on its monentum with a brand of music that can best be characterized as "aggressive groove-rock" in the vein of 311, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Rage Against the Machine, and Incubus - among others. Ultrachronic is playing their third show on Friday, July 15th at The Soiled Dove (1949 Market Street, Denver, CO, 80202 - 303.830.9210). The doors open at 8:00 P.M., and the show will start at 9:00 with Paniolo. Ultrachronic is scheduled to play the second slot at 10:10, followed by Soul Patch at 11:30. Expect a fun, lively, and energetic performance at The Soiled Dove, as well as a new song. At their last show at Herman's Hideaway, Ultrachronic played a new song called "Poolside" - a simpler, 'funkier' tune which turned out to be a crowd favorite. Free tickets are available on Ultrachronic's website, www.ultrachronic.com . Without tickets, cover will be $6. Ultrachronic has other dates ahead as well. They will be playing on Friday, July 29th at The Walnut Room with punk/ska band Eight-O-Two; and on Saturday, August 20th at Herman's Hideaway with rock/reggae/hip-hoppers Boondok Saints. Expect more dates and venues this summer, as well as Ultrachronic's debut CD release - expected later this summer or in the fall.
