About Our Boar
Once living only in the forests of Europe, the wild boar, introduced
into Tennessee in 1912 by wealthy English sportsmen, found the hills
and hollows to his liking and grew even more fierce as he multiplied
in the mountains.
Fast and dangerous, he sports razor-sharp tusks and hulking shoulders
to back up his short and cunning charges. A foe worthy of a
sportsman's steel.
Now an admixture of both the Russian Wild Boar and the famed southern
"razorback", he has, if anything, gained a more savage temper.
Hunter's Hall
Back from your day hunting with competent guides amid our mountain
majesty, dine in medieval splendor at the groaning board located in
the high beamed "Hunter's Hall". Feast on real Tennessee home cooking,
then toast your shins before the massive rustic fireplace while
swapping yarns in congenial company. You may want to browse among
Caryonah's outstanding collection of ancient Indian artifacts before
retiring to your comfortable rooms, each with it's own electric heat
and private bath.

Buck Hunters
website: www.buckhuntershuntingclub.com
email: dfox4@cfl.it.com
Buck hunters is a family orientated hunting club. We encourage youth
hunters. We like to give the young generation some place to go and
experience the greatness of the outdoors, for they are the future
hunters. If you would like to take your wife and children, during non
hunting seasons to look at the property or scouting with you that's
fine, but having events like family reunions and a lot of people are
prohibited. You as a member have access to all of the property all
year round not just hunting season.
We have long term leases on all of our property. We are always trying
to accumulate more so when a lease does end on one piece if we decide
not to renew it we have not really lost acreage.
Unlike a lot of clubs you can hunt all of our property. We pride our
self in picking prime hunting areas. We have no Bo Water property we
have anything from hardwoods to farms. We have 22,786 acres of
huntable property. It is broke up into sections so you don't have to
worry about all the hunters being in one spot. This gives everybody
someplace to go.
We have 786 acres in Rhea county, 250 acres in Bledso county, 13,000
acres in Perry county, 300 acres in Cumberland county, and 150 acres
in Cannon county. We are presently looking at more property, this does
not change the membership price.
We are taking new members now. We paid extra so our members can hunt
turkey in Perry County. Don't miss your chance to hunt turkey season.
Join now.
If you have horses, you are allow to ride them on most of the property
for summer outings.
You can not take horses on the 650 acres farm in Spring City at any
time because it is an active farm. There also can not be campers on
the farm. You can take campers to camp for hunting season on most of
the other property.

Elk and Red Stag
The Elk and the Red Stag are coming from herds in western Canada. They
are good quality animals that are at least 3 year old or older. The
Elk will be 5 x 5 or 5 x 6 and will average around 700 lbs. They will
make very nice mounts and the meat is excellent. The Red Stag are
usually 6 x 6, 6 x 7, or 7 x 7. In size of body they are close to the
size of elk, they will average around 600 lbs. A Red Stag makes an
excellent mount and the meat is very good as well.
Deer
The deer are coming from several places in the states. The Fallow Deer
is the most popular out of the exotic deer. They will vary in color
from black, chocolate brown, menile, and white. The antlers are
palmated, such as caribou or moose, but much smaller in size. The
average weight will be 150 to 200 lbs. Sika Deer will be brown in
color, and body weight is usually 140 to 190 lbs. Sika Deer antlers
are shaped like elk antlers, but are much smaller in size. Axis Deer
have reddish brown coats with white spots, average weight is 140 to
200 lbs. The antlers have three points on each side ,consisting of a
main beam. The average age for all the deer will be 3 and a half year
old. Deer this size make excellent mounts and the meat is also very
good eating. I think you will be very proud of the animal that you
take.
